Region VII AAA Information and Assistance Team

Region VII Area Agency on Aging helps caregivers in east-central Michigan make a loved one’s home safer through its free Information and Assistance (I&A) Team. With more than 50 years serving seniors, the agency knows the home-safety and fall-prevention resources available across its ten-county region and can guide families to them.

An Information and Referral specialist assesses each situation and connects families to home-safety supports — in-home assistance, home modifications, medical equipment, and care management — and to programs such as the MI Choice Medicaid Waiver where appropriate.
